TCMI Formational Residency
As part of TCMI, CT Triad offers a four-month formational residency to equip Kingdom leaders to reach the Triad with the good news of Jesus Christ.
TCMI wants to partner with the Church of the Triad to mobilize Kingdom leaders for the mission of God in our region.
In the broader landscape of the church, we have a leadership gap that needs a solution. Many churches are struggling to mobilize volunteers for their necessary programs, let alone equip leaders to advance the mission beyond the four walls.
The formational residency is designed to train and equip lay leaders, focusing on identity and calling for Great Commission impact where they live, work, worship, learn, and play.
TCMI is for lay leaders within your church. Specifically, those that are emerging or developing, and would benefit from intentional equipping around the Four Priorities: Mobilization, Transformation, Collaboration, and Multiplication.
Every session of the TCMI Formational Residency will be led by a local church leader who brings their expertise in a respective area.

What Does God Want?
What is the nature and purpose of the church? What is our unique role that we play in God’s mission?
Session 2
Mobilization: You are Sent for God’s Mission
How do we understand Jesus’ calling that we have been saved to be sent? What does it look like to truly take responsibility for the lostness where we live, learn, work, and play?
Session 3
Transformation: You are a Disciple-Maker in God’s Mission
What is a disciple and what does a disciple do?
Session 4
Collaboration: You are a Partner in God’s Mission
What if God raises up people from the harvest for the harvest? What would it look like to partner with other Christians to reach people far from God but close to us?
Session 5
Multiplication: You are a Multiplier in God’s Mission
A look at theology of multiplication and moving from addition to multiplication. How does the gospel multiply in our lives?

Where is God calling you to step up and step out into the Great Commission where you live, learn, work, and play?
We believe this program has the potential to bring about a profound and lasting impact in our region by multiplying the influence of the church to reduce lostness in the Triad.

When will the Formational Residency meet?
The residency program will meet in-person once a month for 6-months with an addition video call between sessions.
When will the Formational Residency launch?
The next round of the program will run from January – June 2027
How much time will this require?
Each monthly session will last around 90 minutes, and each video call around 60 minutes. In addition, their may be some targeted “homework” to help participants practice what they are learning.
Who is this for?
The TCMI Formational Residency seeks to target emerging and developing lay leaders who want to expand their influence and impact in their local church and community.
Is this a substitute for my church's small group or discipleship relationships in my church?
No, this will be supplemental and complementary with what your church already offers.
Who is leading this?
The TCMI Formational Residency is a collaborative effort led by multiple churches across our city. Local church leaders with expertise in a particular area will be leading each session.
What churches can participate in the Formation Residency?
Any churches that are connected to the mission of CT Triad are welcome to send their members through the program.
What does it cost?
